«Sirena» became the first Russian company to receive an IATA certificate confirming the status of an IT provider according to the 4th level of NDC.
This is the highest level introduced by IATA from March 1, 2019 to support the industry in the face of growing transaction volumes.
Almost simultaneously, Sirena completed its certification as an aggregator of NDC level 4.
The intensity of NDC distribution is growing and represents a significant potential for the development of the business of airlines and agencies.
The initiative to introduce a new distribution model is reflected in IATA Resolution 787. The main goal of NDC is to create standards that modernize the airline business through a radical change in the distribution system through personalized offers for a particular passenger.
In fact, NDC is a new philosophy of airline commerce, bringing sales of additional services to fundamentally new levels of profitability.
Sirena launched the NDC implementation project in 2016. On September 21, 2016, IATA certified and registered the Leonardo NDC Gateway product as a solution implementing the IATA NDC standard.
Leonardo NDC Gateway is able to fully support the interaction of the NDC standard, providing complete information about airline tickets and additional services, their sale and issuing. This ensures the entire cycle of sales of airline services using PSS Leonardo system.
