KrasAvia will fly to Mongolia

KrasAvia has received a foreign operator certificate to perform regular commercial flights to the capital of Mongolia, Ulan-Bator. Flights on this route with weekly frequency are planned to begin in May this year but preparations for the opening of the new direction are being made for several months already.

Last fall KrasAvia was assigned an international code IATA (International Air Transport Association) - KV, which is necessary for the identification of the air carrier, its destinations and also for the correct operation of hundreds of applications based on these coding systems. Currently, all necessary approvals are being finalized. When forming the schedule, taking into account the historical connection between the Republic of Tuva and Mongolia, it is planned to provide a convenient two-way connection between Ulan-Bator and Kyzyl via Krasnoyarsk.

"Krasnoyarsk - Ulan-Bator is KrasAvia's first international scheduled route, and we hope it is not the only one. The intensive development of economic relations between the Krasnoyarsk region and Mongolia caused the need to open a direct regular flight, and there is reason to believe that the direction will be in demand from both sides, "- commented the general director of the airline Andrey Egorov.
