In "Sirena-Travel " GDS is successfully completed beta testing of selling the railway transportation of Russian Railways in Russia, CIS and foreign countries. According to the results of testing period the service is open and available in the neutral session in terminals " Sirena-Travel " GDS for accredited in TCH agents in Russia , CIS and abroad (by signing an Additional agreement with "TCH " ). During the beta testing in "Sirena-Travel " GDS were successfully issued tens of thousands of railway transportation in Russia, CIS and abroad.
New railway functional of "Sirena-Travel" terminals allows agencies, using "Sirena-Travel" GDS for air transportation selling, to expand the range of services for their customers without additional costs and to offer them the arrangement of railway transportation.
The service of railway transportation selling doesn’t increase the costs of "Sirena-Travel" GDS consoles, the costs are the same as by performance of aviation content. For issuing railway transportation in "Sirena-Travel" GDS agent does not require additional certification (certificate of Railways) besides the accreditation in TCH.
In the system is available the tickets selling for international destinations for which the international certificate is also does not required : Nice, Paris, Berlin, Helsinki. If necessary, the cashier can get an assistance by the button " ? " - the information about the rules of railway transportation, specifics of issuing and refund of electronic tickets.
This allows you not to waste time searching for reliable external sources of information. In " Sirena-Travel" GDS is implemented statistics data upload on sales and refund of railway tickets in the agency sale file ССОД as well as on Online-ticket.
"Sirena-Travel" GDS performs also the secondary transactions with railway tickets:
- Order searching (by date, number of PNR / EMD, on passenger's name, etc.);
- Changing the status of the electronic registration;
- Refund with difference between the required amount;
- Sales report;
- Viewing of stops on the route.
In order to use the application for arrangement of railway transportation in terminals "Sirena-Travel" GDS in the neutral session the agency need to sign an additional agreement ЖД-АВС/13 с with "TCH", to provide information on consoles and to upgrade the terminals "Sirena-Travel" GDS to the version not less than 1.56b (revision 2).
