Sirena-Travel became a sponsor of the Moscow Digital Aviation Forum

The 12th International Digital Aviation Forum Conference was held on May 23 in Moscow with the support of Sirena-Travel company.

From year to year, the Digital Aviation Forum gathers key IT professionals from the aviation industry on its site. This year, more than 100 airlines and airports participated in the conference, the total number of participants exceeded 200 people. The speakers included representatives of IATA, Aeroflot, Ural Airlines, S7 Airlines, Sirena Travel, Travelport, SITA, Amadeus, Saber and other companies.

Alexander Sukhinin, Director of Development Department “Sirena-Travel”, joined the discussion “Where is the NDC evolution going? New features of NDC-content”.

During the discussion, the participants and the audience showed an increased interest in the information that the airline "Yamal" together with "Sirena-Travel" implemented a project on sales of air tickets with the provision of benefits to low-income passengers. “Even today, Yamal is successfully completing over a thousand online transactions using this protocol,” said Mr. Sukhinin.

Despite the fact that NDC is still a new technology for airlines, the intensity of its distribution is growing and obviously represents a significant potential for the development of business of airlines and agencies.

An important part of the forum program was personal meetings between the participants, colleagues were able to discuss successful cases and practical solutions implemented in their companies.
