On June 26-28, a conference of the Russian Road Transport Union was held in Sochi, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Union. Representatives of the "Sirena" took part in the event.
The main attention at the conference was paid to the legal regulation of activities and improvement of the quality of passenger road transport services, including the issues of automating business processes on vehicles and optimizing carriers' costs.
Particular interest of the audience raised questions related to the development of the Federal Law “On direct mixed (combined) transportation”, as fundamental for the implementation of multimodal transportation in Russia.
Being an integral part of the Russian transport infrastructure, “Sirena” has recently transformed into a modern aggregator of transport services, working with all sales channels.
Having the necessary experience and technical capacities, “Sirena” is ready to offer to the market a real technological platform for integration of bus content into Sirena-Travel GDS. Russian motor carriers will be able to organize a wide distribution through the extensive agency network of “Sirena”, which has more than 7,000 points of sale in Russia. This will be an important step towards the implementation of a large-scale project for the organization of multimodal transportation in Russia.
