Support for domestic tourism by air carriers is gaining momentum and laying the foundation for a gradual market recovery.
Airline initiatives include more than just opening new flights.
On April 7, Angara Airlines, one of the main carriers in Eastern Siberia, introduced a new Promo fare on the Irkutsk-Novosibirsk route. Expansion of the tariff line will allow many travelers to go on vacation to previously unexplored places, for example, near Lake Baikal.
Until April 30, tickets at this fare are available at a price of 3,500 rubles, including carrying up to 20 kg of luggage and hand luggage up to 5 kg. The number of seats on the tariff is limited. Tickets purchased at the Promo fare are not exchangeable or refundable.
