AZUR air resumed flights to the resort cities of Egypt

Since the beginning of October, AZUR air has resumed flights to Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada on Boeing 767-300 ER aircraft. Flights to Sharm el-Sheikh are planned from Astrakhan, Barnaul, Vladivostok, Zhukovsky, Krasnodar, Makhachkala, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, St. Petersburg and Tomsk.

The carrier plans to fly to Hurghada from Makhachkala and St. Petersburg. In November, the airline will expand the program of flights to the resort cities of Egypt from the regions. The schedule will include flights to Sharm el-Sheikh from Arkhangelsk and Surgut. AZUR air plans to deliver passengers to the resorts of Hurghada from Arkhangelsk, Novokuznetsk, Surgut, Tomsk and Khabarovsk.

On October 9, Air Astana will resume its regular flight from St. Petersburg to Nur-Sultan. The flight will be operated once a week on Saturdays. All passengers arriving in Kazakhstan from foreign countries must submit a PCR certificate with a negative test result for COVID-19 (the certificate is considered valid for 3 days from the date of issue of the result until the moment of crossing the border of the Republic of Kazakhstan).

All persons who have received a full course of vaccination against COVID-19 in the Republic of Kazakhstan, upon providing documentary evidence, may not present a PCR certificate with a negative result. According to the decree of the Chief Sanitary Doctor of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 03.09.2021, passports / certificates / vaccination certificates of citizens of Hungary, Thailand, Mongolia, Georgia, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Turkey are recognized as valid in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. PCR is not required for citizens of these countries upon presentation of a full vaccination passport.
